AWS Ramp-Up Guides

If you are like me, then you have been self-teaching yourself all things cloud related. There are so many paid resources out there with promises to fast track you into knowing all there is to know. If you have the money to spend then by all means, do what is best for you. I personally prefer the free route and will occasionally spend what is absolutely needed. But also, I don't think there is such a thing as "fast tracking into cloud". Do you?

As I mentioned in a previous post AWS Cloud Practitioner Study Guide, first make sure cloud is something you even want to learn. (You probably should learn a tad about it as most companies are either migrating, starting to migrate, or have already migrated to some cloud provider).

Back to the main topic, AWS study guides. When it comes to learning about AWS services/offerings/and use cases..... in my opinion these guides are the first things you should look at. If you are into getting certified as well, following these guides and testing out is just the icing on the cake.

I first discovered these guides awhile back while creating my case as to why I should get access to OpenShift training. I used these guides to support my journey of learning about multiple clouds at a junior level. You see, I am a consultant and it is important that my skills be transferrable per client project. What I learn about one cloud providers platform should be about 30-50% transferrable to what I learn about another cloud providers platform.

Whoever created these guides, thank you to infinity and beyond. What I love about them is that it's a curated list of webpages, digital training, labs, class training, workshops, white-papers, blog posts, videos, docs, solutions, certification guides, and so much more! If your brain thinks of a "well what if", that ramp up guide probably has it. Each guide is curated by role, solutions and industries too.

It blew my mind that not everyone knows about these guides so that was the reason for me creating this post. A team worked hard putting these resources in one digestible place so let us thank them by using/reading/sharing!
